When I was living in Colorado Springs with my husband and my brother, we always went to bed early, because my husband had to be up by 4 o'clock in the morning, so he can have time to shave, brush his teeth, etc. for work. He is in the US Army.
One cold morning, I heard screams and I got up. Well, it was my husband looking out the window and saying Beba (that is me) is day light, I try to understand , but he kept running around, got out of the bedroom and went to the living room to look out the window. My brother was sleeping in the sofa and my husband was looking out the window and scream one more time "Is day light".
My brother started to laugh, but I did not understand what was going on.
Now is the time to unravel the story. My brother was laughing because my husband saw the sun light and because he was way late to go to work he kept running from one room to the other, just frantic. Why he had to look outside from every room in the apartment?
What happen was that he is never late, and his alarm did not went off so he can wake up and go to work for PT (Physical Training), He was out of himself.
My brother and I started to laugh at my husband. I said: Tony if you see light in our room is going to be light everywhere. He looked at me with a puzzle face, but at the end he started to laugh. He called his office and explain what happened. It is no excuse for me to be late he said. Thank God, my 1st Sgt. was aware that I was always on time and my work meant everything to me.
