Doctor's Appointment

Can you imagine been early to your appointment, enter to you doctor's office, open the door, go to the window, ring the bell, and the secretary says: the doctor will be here in 2 hrs. Well, with a smile I said " OK,." I am already here. When up and down in the elevator, to the pharmacy, outside for a walk, and decided to sit down beside a lady and she started talking about how out of the blue she felt her legs get weak and when she wanted to get in the bed she just fell down in the floor. She was having  a stroke and her four year old grandchild, called 911 and saved her life. Before living she gave me a hug and her granddaughter ask me if she could have one too. Of course, I love giving hugs.
I went back to the doctor's office and already were five people sitting down. I said: "Good morning" and sat down.
One of the ladies sitting down started talking and believe me, everyone was a little bit annoyed to listen to the non-sense conversation. A man their look like he wanted to scream. Poor guy. We were in the same boat, trying to stay afloat.
Well, let's talk about the juicy stuff. A lady enters the office, really serious and go bang on the glass window, instead of ringing the bell. I stood up and rang the bell for her. The window opens, and before the secretary could  greet her, the lady start crying and telling the secretary that she needed to see the doctor now. That she has been shacking, having a bad day and so on. Very politely the secretary said: please go to the emergency room and they can help you, or sit down for a while so you can come down. The lady started to scream  offensive words. At last the lady sits down and she did not have a tear in her eyes. Hey, she wanted to be first. The doctor calls another patient, and the lady stood up. The difference this time was that she rang the bell. As soon as that window open she started arguing with the people behind the window. The lady said to to them, " I want to make an appointment". The secretary told her that the doctor was not taking new patients at this time. Oh, God. the lady start screaming again and bad words came out of her mouth. The screaming lady started to tell her a story about how difficult was for her to get there, that her car was almost out of fuel, and the tires were out of air, and so on. I was getting so annoyed that decided to leave the office. After five minutes the lady decides to live and my husband shouted "Have a nice day". Everyone start laughing.
The big picture is this: The people behind the window need to follow the doctors orders, do not give them a hard time and do not be aggressive toward them, that is their job. You look stupid and the people sitting down get a bad impression of you. Been in a doctor's office or where ever you are, please be respectful of the other people waiting and especially the people that work at the office.
